Summer Is a State of Mind
It may be time to put away your white shoes and head back to school but it’s not too late to knit a wisp of sunshine and beach to keep you warm as the days cool off.
Summer Is a State of Mind is knit with a single 437 yd skein. The pattern includes both written instructions and a chart for the lace. The shawl starts with three easy stockinette stitch panels before flowing into nine lace sections. The three-panel construction helps keep the shawl on your shoulders and since it is knit from the top, the length can easily be adjusted to suit your style or amount of yarn.
Useful Info:

(Btw, the shawl pin that you can see in the fourth and fifth pictures was made by the talented Leslie Wind.)
